This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your transferable skills in the workplace, learn about all aspects of a learning and organisational development function within an organisation, and work with a range of teams and people.
The Role:
The role will contribute to ensuring Anchor’s ability to provide a first-class organisational development (OD) service. The role holder will work with the Learning Designers and the wider OD team to design learning solutions in line with organisational requirements and learner needs. This is a varied role, with exposure and interaction with a wide range of projects, colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders. As part of the apprenticeship the role holder will work with other teams to gain a strong understanding of the organisation and build their skills across different learning methods and authoring tools.
This means that day to day you will:
- Actively participate in the apprenticeship scheme, taking responsibility for your personal development and study and meeting training milestones as agreed with the Learning Experience Specialist.
- Assist with and become responsible for designing and developing learning solutions
- Work with the wider OD team to develop your skills and experience in developing bitesize, blended and accessible learning
- Build your skills in the use of our Learning Management System (LMS) to support the Design team to enhance the learning experience
- Work with a range of Subject Matter Experts to ensure learning has the right balance between information and interactivity to engage learners
- Engage learners with on-line solutions
- Be proactive in the development and delivery of our Communication and Engagement plan to increase social learning within the organisation
