About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our award-winning Internal Communications team.
We’re looking for someone to:
- Be a trusted internal communication advisor, delivering a business partnering service for our Housing Services leadership team
- Ensure key programmes and priorities are communicated in an effective, engaging and inclusive way
- Manage internal communication channels for our housing colleagues to ensure authentic two-way dialogue and build employee engagement
- Work closely with other functions in the wider Communications, Marketing and Resident Involvement function to ensure messages are aligned across a range of stakeholders
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication to understand and drive continuous improvement
About you
You’ll work with a large degree of autonomy, managing your own workload and that of your team.
You will:
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects and issues at any one time
- Have experience of working closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrate an understanding of workforce and sector trends so that communication can be adapted accordingly
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be effective at negotiation and persuasion
- Act as a role model for Anchor’s values, using effective coaching and situational leadership to encourage and empower high performance and creativity
- Lead a team where diversity is valued and celebrated
- Have a track record of responsibility for internal communications at a senior level in a customer-facing business, preferably within a regulated environment
- Demonstrate an experience of a range of employee engagement methodologies
