Job Title: Community Safety Officer
Location: Homebased with regular regional travel. This role will cover the patch from Liverpool / Sheffield/ Nottingham
Salary: up to £40k (pro-rata) per annum depending on experience
Contract Type: 12 month fixed term
Hours: Part time 18.75 hours p/w - Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday
The perfect job for you where no 2 days will be the same! We’re looking for an experienced housing or ASB professional to manage complex cases within Anchor.
Joining our newly formed Community Safety Team, you will be providing accurate and appropriate advice to both residents and colleagues who enquire about or report anti-social behaviour and complex housing management issues. Working closely with Area Managers, you will also deal with any community-based issues and being customer focused, you will be able to find resolutions that increase residents’ wellbeing and community cohesion.

A bit about you
You’ll need to have a Housing qualification or demonstrable experience within a similar role. Ideally you will already have experience of working with people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour as well as working in partnership with other organisations to enhance service offerings to residents. A strong understanding of anti-social behaviour approaches including legal remedies and community triggers is a must.
You’ll be comfortable working both at home and out in the community. A full UK Driver’s License is also required.
