Job Title: Business Administrator Apprentice (Internal communications team)
Location: Hybrid- home working and the Bradford office
Contract Type: 18 months FTC
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours
Anchor are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join the friendly and forward-thinking Internal Communications Team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your transferable skills in the workplace, learn about all aspects of working within a communications team, and work with a range of teams and people.
You will work towards Level 3 Business administrator apprenticeship
About the role
You’ll play a key role in helping Anchor’s internal communications team deliver their new strategy. From helping to plan and organise events with colleagues to supporting how we communicate important messages to our people, you’ll work at the heart of our team.
You’ll support our team of seven internal communicators to provide excellent standards of administration.
The role will include but not be limited to:
Support with organising internal communication events across the business
Supporting with internal communication channels such as Workplace, email bulletins and newsletters
Organising team planning tools
Monitoring the internal communications mailbox
Building relationships with colleagues across the business
Please note this is not a communications specialist role although you’ll be working within the internal communications team and will have the opportunity to learn more about communications as a profession.
About you:
Practical/technical knowledge:
Be ready to gain and maintain knowledge of internal communication channels
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Planning, organising & integrating:
Respectful, proactive and confident communicator
Able to work as a team player
This is a varied role and as part of the apprenticeship the role holder will work with other teams to gain a strong understanding of the organisation.
Communicating & influencing skills:
Be ready to gain excellent working knowledge of the different areas of our business and build good relationships with our stakeholders
Be passionate, enthusiastic and confident with communication skills
Attend internal events with members of the internal communications team
