About the role
You will be working closely with the Managing Director of Care Services and the Care Services management team to provide a high level of HR support that contributes towards maximising operational efficiency and performance. You will be required to work with the Projects and Practice team and be involved in and lead on business projects as required.
Establishing effective partnering arrangements with Managing Director of Care Services will be an important aspect to the role in order. This is to ensure open and continuous dialogue that promotes understanding of their business needs, people related challenges and priorities.
You will lead on the development of functional/national people plan for Care Services based on a deep understanding of local priorities (e.g. workforce plans, colleague engagement plans, recruitment & retention) and business priorities in line with Anchor’s 5 year plan.
You will be required to provide data insight and guidance to increase awareness of trends, internal/external benchmarks and best practice to inform decisions that will optimise levels of performance.
Ensuring that outputs are appropriately shared with Finance and Recruitment team colleagues to ensure right resourcing plans are in place will be a key element to this role; you will work with key stakeholders to identify, develop and implement actions that will provide improvements to staff remuneration and/or other operational costs.
You will have key knowledge on generalist HR and/or operational management alongside HR business partner model (Ulrich) and core HR practices in UK (England). You will also be familiar with change management (advanced level) and performance management. You will have well-developed relationship management skills including coaching and the ability to develop credibility based on skills, expertise & delivery.
You will have strong IT Skills (MS office), preferably degree level or equivalent educated and likely CIPD qualified or significant equivalent experience gained on the job.
You will be an analytical thinking – comfortable in using and interpreting data and being able to translate the needs of the business into appropriate HR solutions and familiar with coaching and mentoring senior stakeholders.
You will have experience of working in the Care Sector that has a solid HR Business Partnering background having worked in a number of sectors that are ideally commercial, regulated and/or operational high volume such as retail, hospitality or banking.
