Job Description
We are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that includes working every other weekend.

In this role, you’ll support the overall wellbeing of our residents by helping to deliver a first-class hospitality service throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving meals, snacks, and beverages in a professional and caring manner
  • Supporting with mealtime preparation and clearing
  • Ensuring dining and communal areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
  • Providing friendly interaction with residents, encouraging independence and dignity
  • Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness as required
  • Working collaboratively with the care and kitchen teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, approachable attitude with a genuine desire to help others
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Willingness to learn – no previous experience necessary (full training provided)
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends
  • A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service

Required knowledge & experience:

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH)
  • Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of working with older people
