Senior Care Assistant – Hazel End (Anchor)
Location: Hazel End, Bishop’s Stortford
Hours: 42 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.92 per hour (fixed)

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? Hazel End, part of the well-established Anchor care group, is seeking a compassionate and confident Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

About Hazel End:
Located in the heart of Bishop’s Stortford, Hazel End is a modern, purpose-built care home offering exceptional residential and dementia care. We pride ourselves on delivering person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel truly at home.

Your Role as a Senior Care Assistant:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring care staff to deliver outstanding care
  • Providing hands-on personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Administering medication in line with care plans and procedures
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and choice at all times

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a care setting, ideally with a supervisory background
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards one)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A flexible and reliable approach, with availability for weekend work as part of the rota
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care
