Set in a peaceful, landscaped setting near Jubilee Lake in Royal Wootton Bassett, Marsh Farm Manor is a modern residential care home offering luxurious facilities and a warm, friendly environment. Our 66-resident home provides high-quality residential and dementia care, tailored to each individual's needs.

We pride ourselves on our dedicated care team, personalised support, and a vibrant programme of activities. From meaningful conversations to freshly prepared meals and scenic garden views, we focus on creating a place that feels like home.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in overseeing all aspects of care delivery, staff performance, and compliance with CQC and Anchor standards. You’ll lead by example, promote a positive culture, and ensure the well-being and dignity of every resident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care
  • Managing staff rotas and resources to meet care needs effectively
  • Conducting care plan reviews and quality audits
  • Supporting safe medication management and safeguarding practices
  • Acting as a key liaison with families, professionals, and external partners
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and staff performance management

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a senior care role, preferably in elderly or dementia care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, health & safety, and safeguarding
  • Excellent people management, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Level 3 Care qualification (or equivalent) required; leadership training desirable
  • A positive, flexible, and compassionate approach to leadership
