Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: 42 hours per week (12-hour shifts, worked Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for our residents. This is a hands-on position, not office-based, where your leadership and presence on the floor make a real difference every day.

You will:

  • Support and lead the care team in delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
  • Oversee and mentor Team Leaders, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across all shifts.
  • Carry out daily checks and audits to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to uphold high operational standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example in creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or currently working towards it).
  • Experienced in a senior care role, with strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Flexible and committed to working a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
  • Organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance and quality.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and ensuring every resident feels valued, respected, and supported.
