Job Purpose:

As a Care Assistant, you’ll bring compassion, energy, and fun to our residents. Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people’s lives. Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener.

Location: Hazel End, Bishop’s Stortford CM23 1EN

Position: Care Assistant – Full time

Hours: Full-time 42-hour role

Rate of pay: £ 12.94 - £13.54   per hour

Shift Pattern: 2 week rolling rota. week 1 Mon/Tue/Sat/Sun.

 Week 2: Wed/Thurs/Fri between 8am – 8pm.

Please Note: We are NOT accepting skilled worker visas.

Hazel End is located in the market town of Bishop's Stortford and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents in single ensuite rooms. The home is located in a quiet residential area whilst being close to transport links and local amenities and attractions.

The dedicated care team gets to know each resident, working with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans so that their needs are always met. The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

Residents living with dementia receive quality dementia care, provided by colleagues who are fully trained to ensure their approach is the best for residents living with dementia.

Hazel End is operated by Anchor. Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has more than 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people. Anchor reinvests the money made into their retirement properties and care homes, to continually raise standards to provide a high-quality service to surpass the customer’s expectations.

Required Skills:

•            Well organised with good time management skills.
