About Kingfisher Court

Kingfisher Court is a welcoming and purpose built care home in Sutton in Ashfield, offering high quality residential and dementia care in a comfortable and supportive environment. The home is proud to be rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, reflecting the team’s commitment to safe, effective and compassionate care.

The home is conveniently located with easy access from Mansfield, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham and surrounding areas. With good local transport links and accessible road networks, commuting is straightforward whether you drive or use public transport. On site parking is available, making your journey to work as stress free as possible.

Kingfisher Court has a strong team culture where colleagues support one another, leadership is visible and approachable, and everyone works together to create a warm and homely atmosphere.

About the Role

  • Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will:
  • Lead and coordinate the night shift
  • Allocate duties and support care colleagues
  • Oversee and administer medication safely
  • Complete and review care assessments
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Promote dignity, independence and person centred care at all times

Your leadership will set the tone for the night, ensuring residents feel safe and respected while your team feels supported and motivated.
