About the role

As Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care every day. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will lead shifts, support colleagues and help maintain the high standards our residents deserve.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating the day-to-day running of shifts
• Supporting, supervising and developing Care Assistants
• Delivering and promoting outstanding person-centred care
• Safe management and administration of medication
• Reviewing and updating care plans and assessments
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding to changing needs
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
• Supporting compliance with CQC standards and company policies
• Promoting safeguarding, health and safety and infection control best practice
• Liaising with healthcare professionals, families and external agencies when required

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, support your colleagues and make a meaningful difference to residents' lives every day.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working within an elderly care setting
• Experience administering medication
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional care
• Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
• A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, Team Leading qualification, or be working towards one
• Confidence using care systems and maintaining accurate records
