Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

About the role
As Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care every day. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will lead shifts, support colleagues and help maintain the high standards our residents deserve.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating the day-to-day running of shifts
- Supporting, supervising and developing Care Assistants
- Delivering and promoting outstanding person-centred care
- Safe management and administration of medication
- Reviewing and updating care plans and assessments
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding to changing needs
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Supporting compliance with CQC standards and company policies
- Promoting safeguarding, health and safety and infection control best practice
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, families and external agencies when required
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead by example, support your colleagues and make a meaningful difference to residents' lives every day.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working within an elderly care setting
- Experience administering medication
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional care
- Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, Team Leading qualification, or be working towards one
- Confidence using care systems and maintaining accurate records
