Help turn strategy into delivery.

At Anchor, we're transforming how we support colleagues and deliver people services. As we continue to modernise our processes, strengthen governance and deliver key people initiatives, we're looking for an organised and proactive project professional to help turn plans into action.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, coordinating multiple priorities and ensuring projects, governance activity and strategic commitments stay on track.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity created to support delivery of our current Culture & People Plan as we transition to a new Organisational Development Strategy.

You'll play a key role in coordinating projects, tracking progress, supporting governance activity and ensuring our strategic priorities are delivered during an important period of change and transformation.

This role is offered on a 0.8 basis (30 hours per week). We're open to a range of working patterns, whether that's across four days, shorter hours across five days or another arrangement that works for both you and the role. We're interested in finding the right person, not prescribing how the hours need to be worked.

As the People & Culture function continues to evolve, we're looking for an organised and proactive project professional who can bring structure, pace and coordination to a varied portfolio of work. You'll work across the People & Culture Directorate, helping turn plans into action and ensuring projects, governance activity and strategic priorities are delivered effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide project, planning and coordination support across a range of People & Culture activity, including:

  • Supporting the delivery of people projects and programmes.
  • Maintaining project plans, action trackers and risk logs.
  • Coordinating governance forums, meetings and reporting.
  • Supporting directorate planning cycles and strategic priorities.
  • Maintaining key documentation, reporting and governance records.
  • Working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure projects remain on track and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Providing visibility of progress, risks, dependencies and key milestones.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of priorities within the Culture & People Plan and wider Organisational Development agenda.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience working within a People, HR, OD or similar business function.
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience using recognised project management approaches.
  • Strong planning, reporting and administration capability.
  • Experience of process improvement and process mapping activities.
  • The ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities.
  • A project management qualification such as Prince2 Foundation, APM or AgilePM.

Why Join Anchor?

This is a role where you'll work across a broad range of strategic initiatives, support senior leaders and help shape how People & Culture delivers services in the future.

If you enjoy organisation, coordination, governance and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
