Job Title: Project Surveyor (Leasehold Support)
Location: Home Based with extensive travel around the Kent/Surrey/Sussex area

About the role
You will be responsible for directly supervising contracts with an annual value of circa £1m in your area and ensuring projects are completed in the most efficient way in accordance with Anchor performance specifications.
You will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the wider regional teams to ensure successful delivery of a programme of Leasehold projects, following all Section 20 consultation requirements, responding to observations, adopting the Anchor Hanover client best practice principles and collaborative delivery processes. The collaborative approach requires honesty and transparency and you will work to expose and deal with problems forthrightly.
You will be expected to demonstrate how you are delivering at the required cost, time, quality and customer satisfaction performance and that performance is continually improving.
You will have a Building, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background with prior experience of project delivery, as well as experience of contractor management and Project budgetary management experience across multiple projects/contracts. You will have previous building surveyor experience.
You will have an understanding of the Section 20 end-to-end process from initial scoping of projects, through consultation. You will be required to engage with key stakeholders, including Residents Associations, Housing Operations colleagues and Suppliers at all stages throughout the procurement of Leasehold Projects.
You will be self-motivated with a flexible approach, have the ability to learn quickly and adopt best practice and take ownership of issues and drive through to conclusion. You will have knowledge of IT packages/applications to produce programmes reports, specifications and presentations containing complex data and information.
