About the role
A member of the Anchor Hanover Senior Leadership Team and the Care Services Management Board this role will lead a team of care services management experts who are responsible for coaching and managing Home Managers within the London and Surrey region to deliver business performance in line with agreed KPIs and business priorities.
This role has a key responsibility for maintaining productive relationships with key local authorities through both contractual and commissioning processes.
Ensuring consistent provision of care standards and delivery of an experience in our care homes that supports our business plan and promise of happy living for the years ahead.
The overall scope of this leadership role is as follows:
Income budget of £50m and expenditure budget of £38m
Staff management responsibility in excess of 2000 colleagues
Educated to degree level or equivalent through relevant training and/or experience and evidence of continued professional development, you must have a proven track record of responsibility for care services leadership at a senior level, in a large and complex business and have an excellent insight into best care practice.
You must have strong knowledge of care compliance requirements from a regulatory perspective.
You will act with integrity, actively promotes the vision and role models the values of the Group.
You will be a strong negotiator and influencer, a natural diplomat, able to work intuitively with a wide range of stakeholders and secure buy-in.
You will champion rights of customers to have access to excellent care, support, homes and services.
You must be willing to work flexibly and out of hours, including regular travel
