About the role
You will work as part of the Treasury & Sales Ledger team providing an effective, stream-lined and customer focussed service, ensuring that all income is correctly allocated to customer accounts on a timely basis. You will ensure that all cashbook and bank transactions are identified, controlled, accounted for and reconciled in accordance with Anchor policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for raising sales invoices; identifying outstanding debts and monies due are collected. You will ensure that month end income processing is completed in accordance with the month end timetable and that all cash related transactions have been correctly approved and accounted for in accordance with Anchor’s policies and procedures and the delegation of authority.
You will have experience of working in a team in a financial transaction processing environment and experience of computerised financial systems, and data analysis using spreadsheets.
You will have GCSE’s Maths and English and you may be studying towards your AAT.
You will have good communication skills and computer literacy as well as a high attention to detail. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines and you will be able to critically analyse data and solve problems.
