About the role
You will be required to support the Business Accountant for Development and Long Term Planning with all aspects of management accounting for areas of responsibility, including the production of management accounts, KPIs & reporting and month end commentary, ensuring that all information is timely and accurate. You will be an advocate of Anchor Hanover’s financial policy and control across the business.
You will need to prepare and post accruals and prepayments and undertake all aspects of reporting and commentary for areas of responsibility. You will carry out monthly forecasting as well as playing a key part in the annual budgeting cycle.
You will be part qualified and studying towards full accounting qualification. You will have experience of financial systems and processes and working in a similar role is a large organisation. You will have advanced Excel and IT skills alongside good written and numeric reporting skills.
You will work with great accuracy and display a strong attention to detail, with an ability to organise your workload to cope with changing priorities. You will be capable of making decisions based on policy and procedure and possess an awareness of regulatory requirements.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills with good commination skills and the ability to convey financial information to those without financial knowledge.
