About the role
You will control and improve production of all financial management accounts, budgets, KPI’s and financial reporting with a focus on managing the financial records of the five new Anchor Hanover care homes.
Managing a team of three colleagues, you will ensure information is timely and accurate and that interpretation is provided that will support and promote sound business decision making and lead the account payable and account receivable team for the newly acquired care homes.
You will be responsible for the production of accurate monthly management accounts and financial information including interpretation and commentary for stakeholders and you will ensure all relevant processes and systems are fit for purpose, compliant and continuously reviewed for improvement.
Contributing to the delivery of a successful finance function through developing and supporting others within a collaborative working environment will be an important element of this role alongside the contribution to the migration of financial records, and processes from Sage to Anchor Hanover systems.
You will be a Qualified accountant, with an excellent understanding of Production and interpretation of the period end accounts, management of accounts payable and account receivable functions and a good understanding of MI and KPI reports and variance analysis.
You will have experience of working with a variety of accounting and reporting systems and knowledge of Sage 50 highly desirable.
You will have advanced Excel and IT skills and good working knowledge of several business accounting systems and processes alongside accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
You will be a natural problem solver with good reporting skills and technical accounting ability, and have the ability to assimilate quickly into new environments and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
