Home based with frequent travel (London)
Up to £65,000 per annum + benefits
You will establish an agreed plan of targeted existing schemes for redevelopment, significant conversion or extension in London, and particularly Hackney in collaboration with senior Operational and Assets colleagues. There may also be some opportunity to identify and deliver, to consented stage, new sites in key targets areas in London/within the Greater London Authority (GLA) area.
Having full regard for the priorities within the approved Development plan, you'll deliver fully worked up, consented projects, which meet the relevant financial hurdles.
Ensure that any representation is made with the customer in mind.
Key responsibilities include:
Adhere to Anchor Hanover’ governance requirements in relation to decisions on new developments, making representation as appropriate
Demonstrate interest in and understanding of the Development Plan and the wider organisation and takes steps to act consistently with those objectives
Working within the approved Development Plan and Asset Management Strategy, determine the priority and viability of possible redevelopment opportunities in and around London.
Take forward to delivery stage, approved projects; managing costs, appointing consultants, controlling the brief and liaising with operational colleagues to ensure the optimum outcome for the organisation.
Working closely with the Operational lead for Hackney and/or London to ensure proposals are aligned with operational priorities
Liaison with other key stakeholders is critical to the success of this post including relationship building with key local authorities; you'll be an ambassador for Anchor Hanover, representing and promoting the organisation confidently and knowledgeably at every opportunity.
You will be tenacious in identifying the right solutions to often, complex challenges and a skilled diplomat, negotiator and influencer in ensuring the voices of our customers are heard throughout the planning, design and implementation of your projects.
