About the role
You will control and improve production of all financial management accounts, budgets, KPI’s and financial reporting. You will provide support to the business as a valued and trusted support team member and ensure that information is timely and accurate and interpretations are provided which support and promote sound business decision making.
You will be responsible for the production of accurate monthly management accounts and financial information including interpretation and commentary for stakeholders.
You will take ownership of the monthly forecasting process in both the income and expenditure account and the balance sheet including:
- Production of reports and interpretation of impact
- Communication of output to stakeholders
- Overall control of annual budget cycle with all reporting
You will identify, interpret and communicate key financial information in order to drive financial performance through challenge and support across the organisation. You will ensure all relevant processes and systems are fit for purpose, compliant and continuously reviewed for improvement. This role will involve occasional travel to locations throughout the country.
You will be ACCA/CIMA/CCAB qualified or equivalent or committed relevant study. You will have excellent IT skills including an understanding of accounting systems and Management Information as well as a good understanding of the production and interpretation of the period end accounts. You will have experience of working with a variety of accounting and reporting systems
You will be a well organised individual and have the ability to work on own initiative with high attention to detail. You will be able to build partnerships and maintain relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
You will have excellent communication, analytical and presentational skills with an ability to disseminate information as this role with have duties relating to effective management of a small team.
